Young adults with cancer

At Taussig Cancer Institute, we realize how difficult it can be when you or someone you love has been diagnosed with cancer. We are dedicated to helping you face the challenges associated with your diagnosis and treatment.

We invite you to join us for a webchat which will answer your questions regarding young adults — those under 40 — who have been diagnosed with cancer. This is a rare opportunity to chat live with medical experts in the treatment and management of young adult cancers.

Possible questions for this webchat

  • If I’m diagnosed with cancer at a young age, is my prognosis better than if I were older?
  • Are there support groups for young adults diagnosed with cancer?
  • Is there counseling help available to parents of young adults with cancer?
  • Are young adults with cancer better candidates for cancer clinical trials?
