It’s not in the literature: I have asthma and stents. My heart disease symptoms were identical to those of asthma. My GP insisted that I see a cardiologist who said I needed an angiogram. I woke up with six stents. Nobody has written anything about asthma and heart disease> Why?

Thanks for the suggestion. We always welcome ideas for new blog stories and will talk to our doctors about this. It is true that some symptoms for heart disease, such as shortness of breath or chest pain, can be similar to other conditions. We always like to rule out heart first as it can be life-threatening. Hope you are doing well. betsyRN
