Find some advice about selecting cold cereal, granola, hot cereal, bagels, or whole-grain English muffins. Or if you’re looking to add protein and flavor to your breakfast, you may find yourself in the nut-butter aisle. I have some tips to  choosing protein-rich options without adding sugar.

Remember breakfast doesn’t have to be difficult. Choose items that are healthy and simple and you can’t go wrong. I also recommend plain Greek yogurt or a dairy- free almond or coconut yogurt for a quick protein-packed breakfast topped with fresh fruit or nuts. If you have an extra few minutes, another great option is a veggie omelet with a 3-to-1 ratio of egg whites to yolk, which provides protein, vitamin A, choline and B vitamins.
