Grilled Peaches with Cinnamon Honey Yogurt Dip

Ingredients

8 oz plain non-fat yogurt
2 teaspoons honey
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
8 peaches, each 2 2/3 inches in diameter

Preparation

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan.
  2. Add yogurt, honey and cinnamon in a bowl; stir well to combine. Place in refrigerator until ready to use.
  3. Cut peaches in half and remove pits. Place peaches cut side down and grill until you see grill marks and peaches begin to caramelize, about 5 minutes. Remove peaches from grill and cool slightly. Spoon yogurt mixture on top of peaches.

This recipe makes 8 -16 servings, with serving sizes varying by age group. For children under age 5, cut one peach half into quarters and serve with one tablespoon yogurt mixture for dipping. For older children and adults, serve two peach halves with two tablespoons yogurt mixture.
