Summary: If you have a connective tissue disease, we do have specific recommendations after aortic surgery:

Advertising Policy
  • Medications to control heart rate and blood pressure
  • Cardiac rehabilitation
  • No heavy weight lifting, heavy exercise, or competitive sports

Each patient is different, so it is best if you talk to your doctor or participate in cardiac rehabilitation, so you your plan can be tailored to you.
