The link between your heart, brain and emotions

Because the heart is in the central location in the body, it was once thought that the heart, not the brain, was the location for all thought processes. This idea that emotions were associated with the heart is found in Egyptian mythology and Biblical references. As this heart-brain link was dispelled, many believe that the love association remained because of the tendency of the heart to race in response to adrenaline when we find ourselves attracted to another person.
